STORAGE
Store at -18c, keep frozen until use. Once defrosted, please keep refrigerated and use within 24 hours. Please ensure that you follow normal hygiene rules for preparing raw meat products; always wash your hands after dealing with raw meat.

These shanks are such good value. My labrador was super excited initially. He then settled down to chew. After an hour he had eaten the meat from the bone and part of the marrow. I didn't want him breaking off parts of bone, so pushed the marrow through for him to eat. His teeth are nice and sparkly and an hour of activity has resulted in him being fast asleep in his bed now. Very happy and contented dog!
Thanks for your feedback Helen. Once he's finished getting the marrow out, you can always smear a little 100% peanut butter (make sure it doesn't contain Xylitol sweetener as it's toxic to dogs.) inside the bone, to keep him interested. 🙂Simon
